our Christmas

Here are some of our pictures from Christmas day.

This was Savannah's first Christmas with us. I think she had fun.

Opening their treats and Christmas lobsters.

Sophie got a red one, and Savannah got a green one. {The green one is already missing a leg}
After Christmas morning and lunch with Terry and Murelene. On the way to Americus.

Delaney {my niece} got a new barbie ride. She's a pretty good driver.
Sophie and Savannah hanging with their dad.

Sophie got tired of all the commotion, but she didn't want to miss out.
Mom and her new zebra top.
Charles will be doing some serious cooking.
Kim, Davis, & Brandon aka Bubbie

Christmas night. The Beatles made an appearance. We are a talented bunch.
Dad, Charles on drums, Mom, Bubs on guitar, and Yah on vocals.

I didn't know Rockband was so much fun. Can't wait until next time! Hope you all had a great time over the holidays. Now on to new year's eve!

our family

I can't believe Christmas is over! It came and went so fast. We had a great time with friends and family. A big thank you to Terry and Murelene for a great visit, wonderful food, and thoughtful gifts. Also, thanks to Bubbie and Kim for hosting another great Comer/Jones/Stovall family Christmas. I had no idea how much fun it is to play the wii. Lets just say there was a lot of Beatles Rock Band going on. Thanks Mom, Dad, Bubbie, Yah, Kim, Andrew, Davis, Sarah Beth, & Delaney for a fun time in Americus!! {Also to all the kitties, thanks for putting up with our girls below!} This was our little family 2009 card.

project runway...

Project runway, six year old style. Friday night was my niece, Delaney's, 6th birthday party at the Nancy Jones School of Dance in Americus. Charles and I loaded up the girls, and headed south for the party. Kim {Delaney's mom & my sister-in-law} did a fabulous job planning and decorating her cute model party.

These were the invitations, so realistic! I'm sure it's just like an invite to a show at Fashion Week in NYC!

This is the run way. Kim created the name backdrop.

Her awesome birthday cake, again, created by Kim!

Each girl got a blingin' ring from the cake. {I wore mine all night!}

The paparazzi. {Standing up in the number 5 shirt is brother Davis}

Delaney's practice walk. She worked it!

This was the final line up once the lights came on. My camera was having trouble getting pics while the lights were down. It was a fun night. My other niece & nephew came down from Atlanta with my sister, Lauren. We had an after party dinner across the street at The Station. Then it was back to Griffin on Saturday am for the UGA game. we should've stayed in Americus!

Last random pic. On my walk around the block with Davis and his paparazzi friends, I took this picture through the window of Mary Baldwin Antiques. If you ever drive through downtown Americus, you must stop in here. It is a great shop, also where I registered for some great wedding gifts back in the day. Have a great week!

important things....

Since I have decided to step it up a notch, and really get into this blogging thing, I must post pictures of my favorite three boys. You've seen the girls, Lane & Sophie. Now is it time for Charles {human family}, Duke {26 equine family}, & Abraham {19 equine familly}

Thanksgiving '08. I made Charles & the girls pose for a million pictures. I think we used this one for our Christmas card~can't tell, there are too many!
Duke & Abe in 2006 when we lived in Newnan.
My sweet Abe.
They really are great friends, have been together for 10 years! I got Duke when I was 10, so we have been together for 20 years! I don't really remember life before Duke. Also, haven't known anyone longer except for family. Duke is an old soul. He was born old.......and grouchy. That's why we love him! He is very level headed & has that goold ol' horse sense.
Abe joined our crew in 1999. I knew him before then because my friend Jill owned him for a couple of years. I finally decided to give him a shot after a really bad relationship with an English horse named, Leicester :( . Abe is my sweet, loving horse. He likes to lick your hands, and LOVES to get back massages. He really has been the best!
They both live at a farm in Griffin about 10 minutes from my house. They are happily retired, and have a great time! They also have a friend named, May. Lane & Sophie really enjoy going to see the boys too...
