it's cold today!

Wel, it's not going to be cold all day....Went for a walk with the girls this am, and froze! Reminded me of one of my yearly Christmas list items. I can't complain though, it has usually been nixed for something better.
I could have really used this Patagonia Retro-X Jacket this morning! This picture is from the Patagonia site, but this is usually in Garnet Hill catalogs. Love the cream/natural.

While on Garnet Hill I spotted this. Cute in the bright green.

Have a great weekend! We have a party tonight, and annual Humane Society Chili Cook Off at the Pavillion! It's fun, we have gone the past few years. {It will probably be cold, and a perfect day for one of these Patagonias!!}

stylish horses

Growing up with horses, one thing a girl always has is horse stationery! Yesterday, I saw an online ad for Smock Paper Press so I checked out their website. All of the stationery & invitations are eco friendly, & printed on bamboo paper. At first glance I really liked their designs. Then, I found the horse note cards below. I love this design!
Then, I checked out Iomoi to see their latest horse designs. They used to have a cute horseshoe, but now they have this fabulous horse head paper! Iomoi is a little on the pricey side for my taste, but all of their stuff is amazing, check it out!
Really love the green horse head knocker!

These are loose pads in a lucite tray. Would be great to have on my desk! Maybe they will come out with a horse head knocker set!

favorite fall boots

One of my favorite blogs, elements of style, always has a Fashion Friday post. Today, she had a lot of chunky sweaters and dresses that would be perfect with a pair of tall boots. Every year about this time, I start getting boot envy. All the catalogs just keep coming daily with great boots! Some of my favorites can be found at Garnet Hill.

I love nailheads on furniture, and I am loving these Frye Stud Boots!

If you need a little heel, I like the Matisse Heeled Boot

I'll take these in both colors! Corso Como Tall Cutout Boot

I know these aren't boots, but wouldn't they be great with tights and a dress! Garnet Hill has these Gentle Souls Suede Wedges, and every year I think of all the ways I could wear these. A little too pricy for me though at $235. Let me know if you find a cheaper alternative!!

See you next week! Go Dawgs!!

SOLD!

Just had a real estate closing! I am so excited! This afternoon I am heading down to St. Simons Island with some friends. Please keep checking back! I will hopefully have some good pictures to post on Sunday night or Monday morning. There are some really beautiful homes on St. Simons, and I might grab my mom's car and sneak onto Sea Island for more pics! Happy Early weekend!!

PS-One closing closer to my dream car!

bring back the eighties!

I missed these on the first go round. I am definitely wanting a pair of the new tortoise Wayfarers from RayBan! Thought I would do a quick lunchtime online shopping & blogging!! Too bad about our recent spending freeze......
