paint projects

I bought a mirror for a great deal last fall. Details and before picture here.

Sometimes I move a little slow, but I did some painting yesterday. The weather was so NICE here! I made a little painting spot in our basement, and tried to organize all the projects I have planned. Some are for us, and some are to sell at our booth.

So here's the first item. Do I keep or sell? Not sure yet. I really like it much better now!
This was during the process...
I also painted this magazine rack. It was black, now a light green.
This is my fabulous paint studio in our basement. Ha!
Last thing...I did another fabric covered corkboard with nailheads for the booth too.
Once I get our paint sprayer going, I hope to get much more painting done! I have a few pieces of furniture waiting for a transformation.

the Antique Griffin {& our booth}

Finally, I am getting around to posting pics of the Antique Griffin. If you've been to my blog before, you may remember this post here, & here.

Our old location...
It was a good bit smaller.
Our new space. They have just recently painted it lime green.

The finished result.

We still have some furniture to move in. But we think this is much better for now.

If you entered by bag giveaway, you will see some of the other cute designs Kay has for sale here. Does that mirror look familiar? Bought it here.

Views of the store.

There are so many great vendors here.

Love the aqua walls in this one.

The Antique Griffin is located on Hwy 16 in Griffin. Less than 10 miles from I-75, and about 30 minutes from Senoia in Coweta County.

The outdoor/garden room.

I love this booth. Unfortunately, that cool table with the metal top is not for sale, or I would have to get it!

I hope you visit the Antique Griffin soon if you live in the Griffin area, or if you are passing through. There are some other antique stores here, and some great outlet stores so you can makde a day of bargain and antique shopping in our little Griffin, Ga!

2 new items in store

I have 2 new items I am putting in my booth at the Antique Griffin this week.

I have only finished one burlap stocking. With Christmas right around the corner I need to get to sewing....fast... This one is cream burlap with a light green cuff.

I love my corkboard in my office with nailheads so much, I made one to sell. See mine here.

We had a fun weekend, pics to come later this week. Happy Monday!

logo ideas

November was my first month of having a booth at the Antique Griffin. It has been a lot of fun, and I actually sold some things! Some of you know how I like to change logos around. I am a little indescisive. I thought I would try simplifying the logo for my booth business. Also thought I would go with my trademark green and gray. Same colors for Griffin Realty, and this blog. Isn't continuity key in marketing? Anyway, I would love any comments. Do you like the new one in green and gray, or the old one?

new shop!

I am so excited! This is my newest logo, and this is what it's for.
The Antique Griffin is a store that has booths owned by different sellers. All things ranging from antiques to home decor and other trinkets. Charles and I have always loved shopping there. The inventory is always changing. My friend, Kay, has had a booth there for awhile. She was ready to upgrade to a larger space, and asked if I wanted to split it. Of course! My dreams of owning a retail shop start here...
I got the website below, but for now have it link to this blog. I will be posting new items that I'll be putting in the shop. Today, Charles helped me take some things to get it started. Since I love all things logo, I had to create one for my new little shop. S. Lane comes from my dogs names. I am a little dog crazy as you can tell with the Whippet silhouettes.
