in addition to my previous post...

Sorry for the repeat for those who subscribe by email. I posted this on Sunday, then immediately, and accidentally posted the one on Charles. Thought I would re-post this for those who may have missed it!
My last post had some fabulous Bernardo flip flops. Skip to Saturday, and I showed houses to a girl with the cutest shoes. She said they were Tarjay! So here is my cheaper Bernardo alternative if you have the hankering for cool summer shoes.
can't beat $14.99

also in black

mustard is cute too

LOVE the plum
another option, black patent thong
{for $14.99, maybe one of each!!}

The warm weather has me in the mood for some new flops. Bernardo has always been a favorite. What do you think about some of these? The first ones are my favorite.

new land=new boots

Has anyone else had trouble getting a pair of Hunter Wellies for the past few months? Well, maybe it's just other size 9 gals like me. I wanted a pair for Christmas, but they have been sold out online. Finally, I had the great idea to check out ebay. Found these for a good deal. I know you are wondering, why didn't she get the original green? Well, I decided I wanted to be a little different, and also, these boots are made for walking in mud, so made sense to go brown.

The thing that really made me finally get these boots, was our new purchase. We recently bought some land in Griffin.
There is a creek on the property, as well as some low wet areas. Charles finally got me walking the property with my new boots!
And really, I should have bought some wellies along time ago. I mean, I've only been cleaning their rooms for 20+ years.....
They like the brown.
Have a great weekend!!

I didn't know I liked Chuck Taylor?

Well, the shoes that is. I can't resist a good bargain. Saw these at Beall's outlet {you probably have to live in a small town to have one of these} tonight. Christine and I decided they were too cute to pass up. Just so happened to have both of our sizes. Real Chuck Taylors! I really have never had any interest in them, but the light pink got me. I'm wearing them now. Might wear them to bed. Very comfy, I never knew.
I really did get a great deal. Saw them on Amazon for $39.
It's not even 2010 yet, and I'm turning over a new leaf, trying new things, branching out. You catch my drift...Good night. Can't wait for tomorrow!

favorite fall boots

One of my favorite blogs, elements of style, always has a Fashion Friday post. Today, she had a lot of chunky sweaters and dresses that would be perfect with a pair of tall boots. Every year about this time, I start getting boot envy. All the catalogs just keep coming daily with great boots! Some of my favorites can be found at Garnet Hill.

I love nailheads on furniture, and I am loving these Frye Stud Boots!

If you need a little heel, I like the Matisse Heeled Boot

I'll take these in both colors! Corso Como Tall Cutout Boot

I know these aren't boots, but wouldn't they be great with tights and a dress! Garnet Hill has these Gentle Souls Suede Wedges, and every year I think of all the ways I could wear these. A little too pricy for me though at $235. Let me know if you find a cheaper alternative!!

See you next week! Go Dawgs!!
